Shannon Mews is a 10-acre estate located at Granville and 57th Avenue.

Our neighbourhood:

• is predominantly a single-family residential area with a cohesive neighbourhood identity;

• is low noise, low traffic and safe for families with children;

• is located in an urban forest environment.

Why we exist:
We formed in October 2010 as a direct result of the recent redevelopment proposal of the Shannon Mews estate by its owner, Wall Financial Corporation.

Our goals:

• Raise awareness and alert ALL neighbours about the details of the rezoning application;

• Voice our significant concerns about the scale and character of the redevelopment proposal;

• Inform ALL neighbours about the deceptive history of the community participation to date;

• Encourage ALL neighbourhood owners to contact the Mayor of Vancouver, the City Council and the City Planning Department with their concerns and opinions regarding the redevelopment proposal;
