Heritage retention at 2975 Oak Street

Included in this slideshow are several photos of a project that included heritage retention at 2975 Oak Street.

A heritage designation was passed by City Council that included provisions for an “eleven-storey tower with 50 secured market rental units” back in 2014. This development was completed just a few years ago. Additional details can be found in the following documents:

  1. I am not sure, but I heard that the Van Ansel building was at one time the Jewish Community Center of Vancouver, before the “new” JCC was built on 41st Ave near Oak in the 1950s or 60s.
