A demonstration was held at the intersection of Clark and East Hastings on Monday, November 23, 2020. Clark Drive is one of the main entrances to the Port of Vancouver. The protest was against pipelines like the Trans Mountain expansion (formerly Kinder Morgan pipeline) and it was in support of indigenous land rights. One of the signs read ‘respect UNDRIP’, calling on the government to recognize the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People. A number of photos of the event are included in the above slideshow.
