Four Temporary Modular Housing sites located beside noisy transportation corridors. Can we do better?

This is for the record. Four of the current Temporary Modular Housing (TMH) sites in Vancouver are located beside noisy transportation corridors. As the City and Province decide on adding more TMH in Vancouver, perhaps sites that are a little further from railway corridors or Skytrain tracks could be identified. We’ll have additional analysis and photographs of all of the TMH sites that are currently operating in Vancouver in an upcoming post, so check back soon.

  1. Do you live in a modular home? If not, not sure your opinion matters. The point is modular homes provide affordability and convenience to tenants above all else. Wake up–relocating the modular homes to a location that’s “better” robs the lower end of the tenant pool who now needs to pay additional monthly rent!

  2. There is a simple explanation for this, besides mallace or anti-homeless sentiment.

I bet thet all of these sites are lftover parcels, owned by either the province or the city.

What else could they do with them, realitically?
