Future of port presentation at VCPC March 9th (Centerm Expansion), Waterfront Hub Framework

Vancouver Port Skyline

The Vancouver City Planning Commission meeting will receive a presentation from Port Metro Vancouver at a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 9th at 12pm. The “Scenario Planning for Vancouver’s Future” presentation will likely cover the recently announced Centerm Expansion Plan. A number of issues about the impacts on Crab Park have been raised recently (see comments by the Crab Water for Life Society here).

The Council-appointed advisory panel will also discuss the Waterfront Hub Framework (for further background, see Ray Spaxman’s Open Letter: 555 West Cordova and the Future of our Downtown Waterfront).
