Pink Shirt Day at Vancouver City Council

Pink Shirt Day

Vancouver City Council donned pink attire and posed for a few photos on “Pink Shirt Day” at a meeting on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.

One of the goals of Pink Shirt Day is to raise awareness of problems associated with bullying, and to encourage people to practice kindness. Bullying can take place in many forms in workplaces, at school or even over the Internet. Further information on the movement can be found on pinkshirtday.ca or on twitter under the #PinkShirtDay hashtag.
