Legg Residence site: Then and Now

1241 Harwood
The Legg Residence was demolished in June of 2014. The City of Vancouver had all of the tools to refuse the approval of a 17-storey tower on this site, but chose not to. Instead, the City lost a Heritage mansion that was built in 1899. The mansion was in pristine condition. Further details are contained in following post: Video, media of Vancouver heritage advocates protesting demolitions: Legg Residence, 1241 Harwood (25-May-2014).
