There are spectacular views of the North Shore Mountains from certain vantage points in Vancouver. Anyone who has taken a stroll along the south shore of False Creek between Science World and the Cambie Bridge can attest to this. We’ve included a number photos in the slideshow above of the mountains and also of the City’s skyline in and around False Creek.
What is to become of these views of the North Shore if the Dunsmuir and Georgia Viaducts are removed? Will the City’s Planning Department recommend both the removal of the viaducts and the construction of a wall of towers that would block many of the cherished views from the north side of Olympic Village?
