There are spectacular views of the North Shore Mountains from certain vantage points in Vancouver. Anyone who has taken a stroll along the south shore of False Creek between Science World and the Cambie Bridge can attest to this. We’ve included a number photos in the slideshow above of the mountains and also of the City’s skyline in and around False Creek.

What is to become of these views of the North Shore if the Dunsmuir and Georgia Viaducts are removed? Will the City’s Planning Department recommend both the removal of the viaducts and the construction of a wall of towers that would block many of the cherished views from the north side of Olympic Village? Stay tuned.

  1. we must block all China Chinese developers and buyers until they have been cleared by CSIS 3 times in the mean time they can rent the empty units from other China-Chinese who left them empty this bull shit has to stop, who is to blame Christy Clark I did not realize she was so Naïve.

  2. Of course they will. Height means money and never mind views from lesser areas.
Vision is easily persuaded to wreck the city these aging councillors are leaving behind.
