Seaside Greenway consultation (Phase 2): Point Grey Road and Kitsilano — Open Houses June 18 and 20- (Phase 2)

COV photo point-grey-cornwall-protected-bike-lane-landingThe City of Vancouver is consulting the public on walking connection between Macdonald Street and Alma Street, and to finalize a neighbourhood traffic management plan for the local area south of Point Grey Road. It is also seeking input on wider sidewalk designs on the north side of Point Grey Road, and on traffic plan options.

Drop-in open house events

  • Thursday, June 18, 4:30 – 8:30 pm, Bayview Elementary School Gym, 2251 Collingwood Street
  • Saturday, June 20, 12 noon – 6 pm Point Grey Road (between Blenheim Street and Trutch Street) (in the event of rain, this will take place at Bayview Elementary School. For day-of updates, visit: facebook.com/bikevancouver)

According to the City website, Phase 1 of the Seaside Greenway Completion created a safe, convenient and comfortable walking and cycling connection between Burrard Bridge and Jericho Beach. Phase 2 of this project includes options to improve walking connections and local traffic north of West 4th Avenue.
