THE MALL IS CHANGING
The City of Vancouver has received a revised rezoning application for Oakridge Centre.
The proposal is for a mixed-use redevelopment of Oakridge Centre which includes:
• doubling the size of the mall to 1.4 million square feet
• over 2,800 residential units
• 300,000 square feet of new office space
• a 70,000-square-foot civic centre (community centre, library, seniors centre and childcare space)
• rooftop open space
• a range of building heights between six and 45 storeys.
This is a revised proposal based on comments received from the community and City staff.
Drop by the open house to learn more about the changes. It’s also a chance
to offer your ideas and find out how you can stay involved in the process.
